Co-locating a server at Mango Bay is the best way to take advantage of high bandwidth access to your website(s) as well as the flexibility to maintain total control over your server and site.  An alternative to the T1 connection is a co-located server, this service allows you to avoid the monthly phone costs associated with a T1 line, so it can be a cost-effective way to connect directly to our Internet Backbone. To subscribe for this service, you place your server at Mango Bay in our custom designed server room  where it remains directly connected to our network, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Should you need to access your equipment, it is available to you 9-5 Monday through Friday, or at other times with 48 hour advance written notice. 

All server co-locations include the following:

• Continuous connection to the internet backbone at 1.54 Mbps

You will need to supply us with a fully functional web server and an uninterruptible power supply. This means that you will have to install and configure your operating system (NT, Linux, etc) as well as the Internet server software (IIS, Apache, etc.) that you want to run. In addition, you will want to create your web site(s) and have your web server set up to serve those sites. Here is a short list of possible items needed:

First Level of Support includes:

** Extra Management Hours are available at a rate of:

• $85 per hour during normal business hours
• $125 per hour after business hours/weekends.

We also can assist in the setup/configuration of your web server and have lease rates available for those who need equipment!
